When creating your scheduled table, invite as many students as possible
You have the option of inviting students to your class when you are creating your table. Here is how you can do it on the mobile app:
- Click "create a table"
- Click "edit language, time, etc..." to see advanced options.
- Click "invite"
- You can invite students that follow you and you follow them.
TIP: Make sure you schedule your table far enough into the future. Ideally at least 24 hours, but 2-3 days is even better. By doing this you have plenty of time to promote it.
Once your scheduled table has been created, you can share a link to it with potential students
- Navigate to your profile and find your scheduled table by scrolling down.
- Click on the table and click "share."
- You can copy a link to this table or choose a social media sharing option.
- Copy the link and send it to users on Hilokal who may be interested in joining your class.
TIP: Make sure to include the value they will get from attending your class, and avoid spamming people who don't know you.
Even once your class has started, you can still invite new students
At your live table, tap the big + button to invite mutual followers. You can also share the table by tapping the three dots on the bottom right menu on mobile.
Another effective way to promote your class is by announcing it in your cafe

- To announce your new class, navigate to your cafe and click "edit" next to the announcement heading.
- Write a message and include a link to your scheduled class. This announcement will notify all members of your cafe who have their notifications enabled, so it's important to invite your friends and followers to join your cafe.
Finally, don't underestimate the power of word of mouth!
The most effective way to promote your class is by giving your students value at every opportunity. It may take some time before they start recommending your class to their friends, but eventually they will, and you'll gain a reputation as a great and helpful trainer on Hilokal.
